Directional Finding Antennas

A direction-finding antenna is used in spectrum monitoring, ITU applications, transmitter fault finding, and EW systems to establish the direction from which a received signal was transmitted.

Alaris antennas come in a range of different sizes from a briefcase-carrying hand-operated DF antenna to large mast mounted arrays. Between the two extremes lies a series of vehicle, manpack, airborne, naval, and submarine antennas. Antennas ranges från 9 MHz up to 9 GHz.
